Return & Exchange Policy

Shipping container returns and exchanges must be requested within ONE BUSINESS DAY of receipt at the delivery address, or for depot pick-up orders, within one business day as well. This is due to strict return policies enforced by ports and container depots.

To qualify for a return or exchange, the item must be in its original condition—free of any damage, use, wear, modifications, or installations. All original hardware, vents, and door seals must be included, with the unit identification numbers (BIC codes) clearly visible on all sides.

Upon arrival at the depot or port, items will be inspected by the staff, and the return will either be approved or rejected. Approved returns will be refunded within two business days, and you will receive an email confirmation. Please note that credit card refunds may take an additional 2-10 days to process, depending on your credit card company.

Items cannot be returned to depots or ports without prior approval and must be returned to the original depot or port of origin.

Restocking Fees

Customers returning items are eligible for store credit, which can be used for future purchases without incurring a restocking fee. However, if you opt for a refund, a 20% restocking fee will apply to cover administrative and order processing costs.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of payment, but a 10% restocking fee will apply to cover customer acquisition, administrative, and bank fees. Cancellations made after 24 hours will incur the full 20% restocking fee due to additional container repositioning costs.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend using our trusted third-party logistics partners and purchasing insurance for your return shipment.

To initiate a return, email us via our contact page with your order number and the reason for your return request. Once approved, we will provide a return authorization (RA) number and return location details.

Returned containers will be inspected upon arrival at the depot or port. Once approved, Conex Depot will process your refund within two business days.

Undeliverable Orders

Please carefully review our delivery guidelines before shipment. Undeliverable orders will be subject to applicable fees, including restocking, cancellation, trucking, depot, and bank fees. We recommend measuring the delivery site to ensure the container fits. If unsure, please send photos or videos to our support team for an assessment.

International Returns & Exchanges

Shipping containers delivered internationally are not eligible for returns or refunds. However, our warranty covers international shipments—please contact us for warranty claims.

Shipping Errors

In the event of a shipping error on our part, we will cover the cost of return and re-shipping the correct item. Please contact us immediately if you notice an error.

Defects

Inspect your container(s) upon delivery and contact us right away if any damage is found. Please provide detailed photos or videos of the damage and the unit identification number (BIC code) for processing.

Warranty Returns

For warranty-related returns, please refer to our warranty page and contact us with the necessary information. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear or customer negligence.
